A diagonal across the lower part of the cage below the cross tube and into the boot would add alot to the strength and rigidity of the car without it it is a pretty open structure. A second one above the cross tube would be even better but but will add alot of weight high up and may get in the way of the front seats. Nice job by the way, you are clearly someone who was awake in maths when you did mechanical structures, proper triangles I like very much :D :D those rear shock mounting points arnt going anywhere.
Best regards

Cheers Mike, ive got the fuel tank in the boot and i dont have to much room left in there ,and a rear firewall to be fitted. I could fit a diagonal above the rear cross bar,and the picture of inside the boot, the horizontal bar is just a support i welded in to stiffen up the long bars. All advice welcome. And as for school, that was along time ago, and i was asked to leave as i was a little sod. :( rich

Looking at the lower cross tube in your last photo can I surgest tying thst into the transmission tunnel top where it passes over it with some doubler plates to spread the loads into the tunnel say 4 to 6" in 16G or 18G either side spot welded through holes in the plate every 2" or so and seam welded on the ends (double it to the existing chassis cross member) that should stiffen the whole rear of the car alot making the cage intigral to the rear chassis.
Besr regards
