any recommendations for a low profile trolley jack, one that goes 75mm to 500mm roughly.

I bought a set from Machine mart many moons ago
A trolley jack and 2 axel stands
It gets under the GT40 so presume about 3.5 inch

Works reasonably well

I bought one from SGS - I like the company - plus axle stands.

I bought the light weight alloy one that is very heavy so glad I did not get the ordinary one.

It is pretty low but spec is on their web site.

Sealey used to sell a version of this, as did SGS.

Although they do not seem to anymore...SGS seems to have changed to a 1.5t with a raised platform.

https://autoquip.co.uk/product/weber-wdk13hlq/

I'm sure it can be bought for a better price, but I've had the Sealey one now for around 20 years and there is simply no better jack out there ( unless you need heavier of course but this has never had any issue lifting either end of my 1700kg car )

It lifts very high, and the main body is very low allowing very long reach access to lifting points under the car.

There is a 2T version too that other makes sell as well but the body tapers up much faster so although the jack pad is low, the body is too bulky to fit under a low vehicle so it's rather pointless really.
