Both my V8 Minors weigh around 1100kg. Rover 3.9 engined one with hurricane cam and edelbrock carb and inlet through a jag IRS and BW 65 box does a 14.7 quarter at 96 mph - around 200 flywheel hp. Probably equates to 0-60 in around 6 seconds. My other Minor with an LS1 5.7 litre with around 350 fwhp does the quarter in 12.2 @116 mph. GM 4l60e box and Ford 9 inch rear.
Both cars have a power sapping rear end - more so than an SD1 I'd say.

My 418hp SD1 run 7 years old road tyres witch are like stones. 2.7s/60ft and 112mph 13.9s 1/4 mile.
6.4s to 0-82.5mph. It will weight with driver and full tank 1700kg.
So 0-60mph would be under 5s. G-tech say 4.6s..
My 2800kg Range Rover sport 4.2SC make 0-71.2mph just in 6.4s. 1/4mile 15.3s and 92.5mph. 60ft 2.3s every time.
It is near as fast as Suprcharged corvette with semi slicks 0-60mph. Couple of tenth second slower.

My GT40 was1140kg at SVA and I added soundproofing and bits since then so 1200?
Shows a trip I did to Santa Pod and my timing sheet
Lots of wheelspin on street tyres, no special preparation drove it there and back, even had tools and my lunch /water on board!
Dino says 250 ish HP out of the 3.9, at the flywheel, and transaxle soaked up about60 of those!
The Rover sd1 3.5 weighs 1915 kg giving a 0 - 60 in 7.1 seconds.
If said engine is transplanted into a car weighing 1065 kg what would the 0 - 60 be?
The figure you've given for the SD1 is the gross vehicle weight. Showroom weight is quoted as 1440 max. That 7.1 O-60 won't be achieved with the car fully loaded.
