be very careful of the shipping deals that offer all import duties up front especially if the shipping company is Fed Ex I have paid for this and in one case they came after me for an extra £70 for internal handling fees and Duty and Vat as the fee charged "was an estimate". I ended getting it down to about £30 but they try it on. On a second one the customs charged me for duty and vat on everything including the money that was meant to pay for the duty and Vat this was because Fed ex hadn't filled in their own paperwork correctly, I got everything back eventually but I to go out of pocket to get the goods released and then fed ex for the money.
