Or at least a decent car to tow a car trailer.

Personally won't dare to tow a car trailer behind that as I have seen loads of these where the trailer decided to go its own way....

How I tow Capri's...

The rig up front is heavier than the loaded trailer behind it...
and if it starts to swing, I have enough torque to get it out...

Please take that in mind before you consider to hook up your precious Cappa behind that fancy Nissan.

If you think the tow truck might be unstable when towing.... Just fill the back with bricks Coops

Mine is always full of tools and stuff which adds another 500kg to the 2000kg kerb weight. My trailer and car weigh in around 2000kg ish.

Coops has seen my trailer get airborn when I went straight over a roundabout on the way to a dyno day :)

The truck just dragged it back into shape. 8)

PM me details of the kit you're looking at, is it a standard kit or a special?

Hi Tony
Sorry to hear the bad news, it is never anything but a shock . . . even when you know the situation well before hand sad!

Personally I see nothing wrong with towing a heavy trailer with a light unballested truck, you get to view the length of the que behind you as a personal achievment as you drive along at sub weave speed (38 mph on my set up!) If you do get a good weave on I can recommend having Reg sat next to you, he can look terrified for both of you and leave you free to haul it back into line :D
Best regards
Mike
