Looking at the logs, you might be bouncing between www.v8forum.co.uk and v8forum.co.uk. Are you using a particular bookmark? Can you try the following please :-
  1. Go to https://v8forum.co.uk/forum
  2. Log out
  3. Whilst still on https://v8forum.co.uk/forum, log in
  4. Post to this thread details of what happened :)
I'll be able to find you in the access logs and hopefully piece together what happened.

I'm using the same old bookmark as the old site and the first time I opened on the new site it asked me to log in and has been fine since.
FWIW, I am using Opera for the moment.
Cheers,
John

Still doing funny things. It did not ask me for password at login but when I clicked snagging list it then took me to login screen and refused to let me on. Rebooted PC and tried to logon and it worked. Normally then its good for future logins during the day but following day it has issues again. will let you know when it happens again

In the blue bar at the bottom of the page is a link 'Delete all board cookies'. Can you click that please?

Logged in and stayed logged in OK with Firefox, which I have set to remember password. But when posing a reply, get asked to login again. If I don't, the reply still appears.

I think there is something going wonky with cookies and bouncing between http/https/www.v8forum/v8forum. I've got a couple of ideas, but I'm stuck at work so I can't do much at the moment. Needless to say, it all works perfectly fine for me

There may be a bit of ropey behaviour over the next 10 minutes as I rummage around in the internals.....
