Browser Warning - Login Not Secure!

Post by wesbrooks »

Please can you enable https so that our forum passwords are not transmitted in clear text?

I'm getting a browser warning that passwords transmitted over the login page may be compromised.

it's nothing new. The only thing that has changed is that browsers now (rightly) warn that you are running over http.

Pistonheads that has tens of thousands of users has only just gone over to https after alot of moaning!

It should be relatively easy to implement on this site - but requires a commercial certificate (which will cost some money) and a little bit of testing.
