V8 London Taxi

Post by EricCartman »

Yeah so finally finished this project. It is a 3.9l with a pair of SU carbs. I’m really happy with how it went in and how factory it looks. I’ve also put in a ZF 4hp22 gearbox, a 3.54:1 4HA rear axle and a custom stainless exhaust.
Everything else was untouched so the cab looks just like a regular cab; a bit of a sleeper.
I was hoping to take it to some car shows but corona has put pay to that :(

That is excellent. It'll surprise a few folk!

Probably surprise the driver when it kicks down in the wet and the arse end steps out of line.

Chris.
