Losing a couple of cylinders

I've still got the V8 Fury to maintain membership, but I'm trading in the V8 Jag XF. It's never been a car that I've had full faith in with a whole bunch of different niggles. I've driven the full range of loan cars at the local dealer. So whilst 0-60 in 5.2 is a giggle, a Kia Stinger does it on 4.7 and has a 7 year warranty to boot. Twin turbo V6 here I come (later this week). I never expected to be trading in a Jag for a Kia.

Will be interested to get your thoughts on the Kia?

Why did you choose that over the usual Audi S4, BMW 340I etc...?

Tom.

Because they are Audi, BMW etc :D

I did look at them, but they needed at least £10k in options to get close to what the Kia has as standard. Apart from the badge snobbery appeal and the noise it makes, the Kia is better in every way I can think of to my XF.

It does sound like an impressive car, although even on TGT when they had one....they really said very little about it and never did any real performance tests which seemed odd.

Biggest hit I guess will be resale and immediate losses from buying from new.

And I got the impression it's a regular auto, vs a DCT style gearbox ?

I'm planning on keeping it for most if not all of it's warranty period so I intend to get some value out of the depreciation. It's an auto with paddles and their are complaints about it changing up before the limiter, but frankly I don't wish to drive it bouncing off the limiter and I'm sure it probably has a better idea of the precise point to change than I do.
