My orange landy

Post by DaviesDJ »

Just thought I would put a pic of my car on the site.

It's a 5.0 tvr 500 top hat linered block with stage 4 heads - Eddie 180 manifold - Eddie 600 - crossfire NOS plate and mega jolt ignition. 205 psi dynamic compression.

6 point to chassis P&P roll cage - HD rear detachable AR bar with -1 springs and 17 inch modulars - 1640kg without me. Custom galv TD5 chassis with v8 mounts.

Valve bulkhead - disco R380 (quaif gears in the wings waiting) - high ratio l322. Fabricated zinc plated trailing and radius arms - disc handbrake conversion. Super GAS shocks and turrets. AFR gauge - gold flo fuel pump.

Hey Dave
I'm liking the look of that and know that we can sort something out bonnet wise for you no problem.

Cool car with or without what we have been discussing :D

Thanks Paul mate! Really think it could finish off the car (looks wise):-)

Performance??? It is quick - top of the engine back on today ( terrible pic!!) with yella terra 6000 roller rockers. With the 1.7 inch inlets I reckon the manifold will be keeping it down at the top end. But runs on high octane with a lot of advance and now a real steel typhoon cam so... 300 ish off gas maybe a shad over (I hope). Previously had the tvr 885 cam. NOS is fixed hit 100-150 frim WON at the moment at rich AFR.

Hoping for 15s maybee?? Perhaps better when I get experienced. Thanks for your nice comments. Took 2 years to build from scratch

very nice, bet that gos like a stink and surprises many! Landy is on my must-own list, preferably an older Tomcat.
RIP MGB V8 .... served me well as a learning curve.

R32 Skyline V8 .... this one is gonna be a monster!

The tomcats where lovely- rare to get one road legal. Now going to concentrate on my Landy and make it all I want it to be.
