newbie's V8 trike

Post by ratwing »

This pic is lifted from ratbike.org, will post some of my own when I get a digital camera. Rover V8 & 4 speed manual from a P6, the exhaust is short lengths of box section welded into a big flat box with the stack on the front, straight through 3" stainless, deafening even with earplugs so I've cut the casings off a pair of 2.8 sierra resonators and stuffed them in the open ends. This pic shows an earlier attempt with little baffles poking out the top. I wonder how much power/economy I'm losing with this exhaust?
