Power steering hohses
Hi, I have a very earlier SD1 fitted in my Stag and the power steering hose has burst. I'm assuming it's the high pressure hose as it has pressure fixings at both ends whereas the second pipe doesn't.
Anyone know where I can get a hose, or make any suggesting about how I can re-attach the burst pipe end, thanks? Russ

Most plumbing compression style fittings, arent really rated to the sort of pressures involved in PAS systems.Raggylad wrote:Is it rubber hose or metal pipe ? Pipe can be repaired (had a similar problem recently in my V8 Land Rover) with a plumbing connector; hose needs replacing.
Yes, I know they usually work, and have used them myself. But just be aware that they may not always work, and PAS fluid is quite flammable.
