The testing gets better and better. I am now learning how to use this thing. Its got great potential as an alternative to direct port without all the plumbing normally required. :)

Its also leading to other questions about fuel delivery and I'm improvng my fuel system as I go along ...

Its been quite an eye opener to find out just how G force affects a low pressure high volume fuel supply :D

I'm really getting the hang of setting this plate up I reckon :)

I've ignored the makers info and am now setting it up based on my own flow testing with the plate altered to run how I want to see it work 8)

I think I may be onto something with this setup!!

Although I dont have much choice but to make it work because I sold all my other induction stuff to pay for it

I'm hoping to keep the 400hp@540ft/lbs with 60hp less gas next week :)

More to follow! Either a big smile or a barrow full or pistons

Have you thought about asking Martin at Marlin Motors if he can help Coop's ??
Might be worth a shot!

Well!
She's all ready for the dyno tomorrow :)

First task is to get afr right on the carb at wide open throttle.
Once I get that sorted I'll try some spray :)

If you are short of Gas I should have some spare. As I've been crippled financially with my Daughters operation and time off work I've been economising. Luckily a mate of mine who isnt racing until year end has dropped his 3 full bottles at my house as a favour :) RESULT!!

I'll use maybe 6 lbs for 3 runs on the dnyo. Same again on 3rd July at RWYB testing. So I'll still have a full bottle + two with 5lbs in.

I'm looking forward to Retro so much now! Not just for my car. But for the new project I've been working on with a mate. Its only going to run a 15hp shot. But I'm giving a guarantee that it will trash any 1800MGB on the 1/4 mile by a long way. Maybe 2 seconds :) Hopefully it will run a mid 15 on the strip.
And its only a 1275cc A series engine in a MG Midget ;)
I did road testing last Sunday and its looking good. The Midget is on the rollers with mine tomorrow!

Nobody at the MG Club knows about it so I'm hopefully going to convert some MG guys to Nitrous once they see just how easy a Pel conversion can be...

Why am I getting so excited about this little engine?? :)

Ask Martin if he can advise Coop's!!

I know diddly squat about your electronic stuff. I just keep dumping petrol in until Martrin says "thats enough Pel"

Then I spray some gas and do the same. As long as I'm a bit rich I'm happy :)
