Only way to really tell is to stick an oscilloscope on the controller Rich.
This way you can see if its pulsing or not.
I suppose you could use an analogue voltmeter which may react to show a slowly building voltage. But without sticking mine on it I couldnt be sure.

What solenoids are you using again??

 do you really need a controller for a 50 or 75 shot? If you already have the controller Rich why not go to 100 or 150?

Rich!
I can run a 200 fixed hit with no problems. But I cant do it off the line. I have to be around 100 feet out before I hit the button. Otherwise I'll break something or the tyres will just let go big style.

Why would the hyfire wiring be an issue for the gas system??

well weve gone through the wiring and stuff today, With the jacobs it said that if the solenoids are over a 1" in diameter to use the wiring for a port injected system, so we tried it today and fitted a relay aswell like it said and we have working solenoids :D. so will test it out sometime, What jet sizes is it for a 75 shot, ive lost my list again :? rich

What injectors are you using Rich? Or is it a plate system from NOS?

Rich, why not just stick a facet pump in there for the nos?

As Tom says Rich. Stick a separate fuel pump on for the nitrous mate. And do use a good quality fuel pressure switch to shut the nitrous down if you lose pressure. A £30 switch can save a whole engine! PS. Dont use a real steel switch. Both of mine have failed shut. I use the wizards switch now.

i will use the carter pump ive got spare, the strange thing is ive got 2 regulaters ,1 for nos fuel and 1 for carb fuel, but i cant change the pressure on the nos fuel line ,screw it right in or out pressure stays the same,??. Perry does the wizard fuel pressure switch fit the nos system ok, i never fitted the nos system on my car but the fuel pressure is right next to the fuel solenoid and according to some paperwork it should be atleast 12"away??. If i cant get the controller working then i will just 75 straight of the button, cant afford to replace it :? rich edit time, re-checked the wiring and other stuff and tested again but no joy with the nos solenoid, fuel solenoid works ok , even tried heating the bottle up but still no joy, im wondering if the controller is naff as all solenoids work ok straight of the button :( rich

It certainly sounds like the nitrous output is dead from the controller Rich.
The wizards pressure switch just screws into the same hole in the fitting that the nos one did I think.

Why dont you wire the solenoids via a relay straight off a micro-switch on the throttle.
I've got an old controller lying in the garage somewhere. I think it might even work too. When I get a minute I'll find it and test it. If its ok. You can have it mate. I'm sure I've got the wiring diagram too.
In fact...I'll go and look now.

Laters...

Cheers Perry, :) .well weve been tinkering again today ,and got the nos solenoid to work, then it didnt then it worked for about 4 times then it didnt, so it seems to be pot luck if it works :?. The fuel solenoid always works. I still cant work out why the fuel pressure regulator cant be adjusted, everything seems ok inside, there is not much to go wrong with them?? :? rich
