lpg injection- manifold nozzles where?

Post by Quagmire »

I am fitting lpg injection to my 3.5 and looking for inspiration/confirmation of where to drill the manifold for th nozzles. Does anyone have any pics they can share of their setup?

Many thanks

Jamie

This is what I did:

But I doubt if you have the Thor inlet manifold.

It does work a treat though!

Thanks Chris, looks nice :) I have the conventional plenum setup from a 4.6.

Do you think that if I drilled horizontally into the manifold just below where the trumpets attach that would work? May foul the fuel rail though... I'm conscious that I want to be close to the valve but dont want to be so close I upset airflow across the petrol injector

Drilling below the trumpets would be OK from a functional point of view, but as you say, clearance might be an issue. I suppose you could drill it with the manifold still with all the injectors / fuel rail attached.
