Is single 70mm throttle body going to help or hinder

Post by Twinturbotr7 »

Hi there I'm modding my plenum so intake face out the front of the engine instead of out side so I'm buying a bolt on TB and wondered if a 70 mm tb would cause me any problems or would it be better I've got choice of 65 68 or 70 it's going to be twin turbo inter cooled it's 3.9 and want about 300/350 hp
Thanks

You could make 1000hp with a TB that size blowing through it.

Really...any of those sizes will be more than enough for a very modest power goal, both off and on boost.

Just use whatever is most convenient for you.

I did the same modification you are doing but just used the existing throttle body which also incorporates a neat little idle control stepper.
