Turbo soft coolant lines - suitable material

Need to make up some lines for a single GT35 and would like to use something soft and flexi for ease of routing. Have found some 13mm single ply silicone heater hose that is specced for max 200 deg C working temp, which I think should be fine for the coolant passing through but am unsure about the radiated heat given proximity to the hotside (will prolly use a reflective heat sleeve over the top). The turbo will be blanketed too - any views/experience on suitability (or alternatives).

Bit surprised as there seems to be little info out there...

We use a similar stuff to this in work supplied through pirtek

Use metal to distance the rubber from the heat.

Whether screw in fittings, banjos etc etc

then just normal rubber hose will be fine. Although Ive seen people attach rubber quite close to the turbo itself and dont seem to have problems.

No fancy hoses are required.

Thanks for the replies (and for the PH reply too Stevie) - suspect I'm over-thinking this so will banjo and silicone it with heat shielding, and see how it holds up for the initial set up and bedding in period. The line that will be most susceptble is pretty accessible so it should be obvious if its going crispy at all

Worst times would be when you come to a standstill after a hard blast.

But if the banjo's really do leave the rubber close to the hot turbine housing, just extend the metal banjo pipe so it's further away before moving to rubber.

Or get a decent quality turbo blanket which will make an effective shield too.

I'm running standard short banjos with silicon hose attached directly. I was concerned about the heat too, but its been like that for many years on pair of T34's without even discolouring.
