If anyone has access to the drawings used to produce the items mentioned in this thread then I can put them up on my web pages for all to freely see and download.

Unless of course they remain intellectual property!! :(

That way, loadsa potential consumers can call in toolmaker favours or put some business in the way of their friendly local machinist.

Regarding the shaft bearings, the original plain bearing are well good enough for the job and don't forget the 4 shaft seals as originally fitted, to prevent air seeping thro?

If anyone has an old worn one I'll happily produce a drawing from it. Can do most of the standard CAD files too.

I dont doubt the original bearings are good but are they compatible with stainless steel?
The only thing hard about making these is the slots for the throttle plates. There might possibly be a slitting saw the right size off the shelf or a stock size could be ground to suit. I don't know the width of the slot so have no idea if its a standard size or not.
