I have a 4.6 engine with 3rd stage heads, what do you advise me about the camshafts and intake ported and trumpets?

You're going to have to post a lot more info about the engine and what you wish to use it for.

My experience with these engines is limited, particularly in 4.6 guise, however I can quite confidently say that I'd expect it to work much better with a camshaft than without so definitely advies fitting one.

with stage 3 heads one would assume you have a lighter car and trumpets would mean injected, but what type of injection, what fuel, for road use or track use?
