One way valve.

Post by DaveEFI »

I recently replaced the Bosch injection high pressure pump on my SD1 with a pattern part. It works OK, but doesn't seem to have a one way valve, and the fuel pressure drops off as soon as it stops. It would be easier to fit an external one, than to change the pump - even if I could find the correct one new.

Many of them say not suitable for ethanol Any recommendations?

Not needed at all, and most will restrict overall flow.

If you really insist on having one, what actual fitment is on the outlet of your pump ? barb ? thread ? other ?
