Downdraughts on a TVR5.0

Post by Outcast »

I'm thinking of fitting some Weber IDF or IDA downdraughts on John Eales manifolds on my 5.0 TVR engine. Has anyone fitted these and if so, using the valve cover tops as a datum point, how far above the valve covers are the tops of the carbs. I just want to check I have enough clearance to the bonnet
Thanks in advance...Nige
