Edelbrock 1404 air filter stud

Post by JC. »

Anyone know what size thread the air filter retaining stud should be on an Edelbrock 1404 carb?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Brought a dome nut for the top of mine and it was if remember correctly 1/4 UNC, i assume the stud is the same both ends, and UNC is often used on alloy.

If you cant find anything local Jon I'm sure I got mine from my nut and bolt man in Slough. I can get a length of stud and post it to you if you want ?
