Adding an expansion tank to a RV8

Got this to play with. It's brass under the old paint.

It will fit perfectly at the highest point in the engine bay, right under the scuttle.

Once installed this will become your fill point with a pressure cap so dont forget you will need to remove the radiator cap on your current cooling system and replace it with a cap that just seals the system.

Yep, got a Tee piece on order to replace the old filler and feed a bleed back to the inlet on the 'new' header. Outlet on the header will go a new Tee in the lower rad inlet hose.

I've cleared the add on bleed from the hot side of the thermostat housing to the top of the rad, it was corroded up. Also putting a thermostat back in!

Tank from a TR7 came out OK!

Just waiting on hoses and Tee's
