Rover V8 engine expert required North of Scotland.

Post by MOO229R »

Hi, does anyone know of someone who would work on a few V8s for me in the Inverness area or North of Scotland.
Someone that knows them well and won’t charge the earth?
Thanks Graeme.

There is nothing special about the RV8 that a competent mechanic can't cope with. Even more so today, with so many engines being aluminium, rather than cast iron.

The injection etc may well need specialists.

:whs ,aint that the truth .Whenever I go to parts or hardware shops I look for the oldest staff member, some of the younger ones mean well ,and some are only there to eat their lunch and collect their pay
I wish I was young again , Id be heaps smarter than the first time

Heh heh. I've had my SD1 EFI from 3 years old, and even in the day, never found anyone who understood the injection. In London.

I don't know the name of the outfit, but there is a specialist engineers in Inverness area. They are well known for there off-road racers and the RV8s they put in them. I found them via Goggle search a while ago (i'm in the central belt).
