Richard Holdener has been churning out the videos lately on Youtube.
This latest one was quite good....junkyard 4.8 and 5.3 versions of the LS platform. Dirt cheap in the US of course...not so much here. But with some cheap basic upgrades, they really do still perform !
It's no wonder everyone loves them.

I sold my 3.9 /zfhp22 on for £1500 and picked up a 5.3 L59/4l60e £3000 with ecu and dbw pedal. Bought some LS3 exhaust manifolds a lucky buy cam of ebay and ported the heads myself. HP Tuners for £300 as it only had 2 credits left, so all in with some more exhaust bits it came to under £2500 total cost, cheaper than I could get a decent 5.0 rover unit for and it runs good and should push the pop into the 11s and tow the caravan home !

I sold the 3.9 rover for £1000 and picked up a 350 SBC, TH350, headers and a flymo for £400 !!
