T-pipe valley venting - how to connect?

I am installing a rover 3.5 into a MGA and dont know how to connect this t shaped pipe at the gearbox side of the motor :
In the picture (example - not my engine unfortunately) where does red cap needs to be connected to?

On a P6, goes to the air filter.

On mine it goes to the inlet manifold but has a filter in line to filter the gases of solids.

No just a normal 115hp 3.5 that is dual fuel and also fitted with LPG - I assume you are referring to the large barrel in the intake which is the LPG carb.

The plumbing that is the subject of this thread is all standard.

If I remember the crank venting of the carb engines correctly, that is the air intake to the crank case, with fumes being sucked out via flame traps from the rocker covers into the manifold.

It is vented to atmosphere.
It needs a small filter, normally an inline fuel filter is OK to keep the air going in clean.
Air goes in there and circulates within the engine to give a positive flow for the tappet cover ventilation to the inlet manifold.
