As you say - year it was first used in a British built car - Rover P5B.

You'd have thought very early development cars would have been first registered to the factory? Unless they ran on trade plates only.
William Martin-Hurst used to sell good low mileage older cars at one time - presumably after leaving Rover. Dunno if they are still on the go.
