Hi Andy,
Chesman engineering in Coventry have a look at The website. Might be a little run for you but quality workmanship and they are doing this work constantly .
Cheers

I've used Rotherham Engine Supplies in Sheffield for my bike engine and they were very good; fitted new valve seats etc.. Don't know what they are like with engine balancing, but worth a chat as they are in Yorkshire.

If I cant sort this for a good price at the moment can anyone tell me what psi standard 4.6 pistons can cope with using earlier cc heads?
V8 tuner says it'll only good for 5psi,they're the ones that have said I need forged pistons

There is no easy answer to that. A bad tuner can break any pistons, as can a bad build.

But certainly I used standard low compression 4.6 pistons at around 15psi with no issue. The pistons are actually a pretty good design. I eventually blew it up, but it was no fault of the pistons.

Give John Eales a ring. His brother does all his engine balancing and does it correctly with a proper individual internal balance. He did my TVR 5 ltr which needed a lot of metal removing from the crank and then a fair bit of heavy metal also adding. End result is super smooth. Wasnt expensive either approx £150.
