Serpentine front cover without oil cooler.

Installing an intermediate front timing cover and I do not want to fit an oil cooler.
Problem is how do I blank off the oil cooler pipe connections?
Have bought some blanking plugs from `Stig Fasteners` as recommended on this forum, that will be fine for the bottom connection, the cover has a flat face on this connection, so should seal with a copper o ring, but the side connection is a problem.
Can anyone suggest how they have sealed this connection for me please.
