hi

my rockers are american imported ones but are classic looking

fit with standard rocker cover gaskets

how thick are these, will i be able to machine into the top?

The top is 7mm thick and the fins are 3.5 deep, where do you want to machine them?

would it be possible to have a completly smooth 7mm thick pair of covers?

also do these have the 'splash plates' or whatever there called in????

I wouldn't be able to do them smooth on top without making a new pattern.
They will have baffles if they are wanted on them, for a pair like in the pics they won't be needed but if someone wants them it can be done.
TVR covers, no problem, I can do these with any lettering on top and I have TVR badges I use on some of my ford covers.Image

What should one do about fitting the breathers?

I can fit breathers on the blank areas on the covers, whatever size wanted and how many wanted, they can have one cover drilled for the oil filler and one for the flame trap, whatever is wanted can be done.

Finally a dry day,!
Got my new rocker covers fitted,

Plenty of clearance for my roller rockers,my old covers had the breather in the middle,which was a tight fit to the blower !
Had two custom filler caps made,www.pointcnc.co.uk/car-parts/custom4.htm

They are indeed, theres room for a combination of 14 letters and spaces on them.
