Rotor arm and advance.

Hi new to the forum
Have a question regarding rotor arm .
Have a range rover classic 3.9 manual. Recently found the vac advance wasn't working so set about fixing it. Unfortunately I made a school boy error in pulling the rotor arm too hard to the extent it dislodged the springs for the advance weights. Stripped down and reattached. Thought all was well but now not sure. Might be in my mind but it feels a little flat power wise.
How much should the rotor arm rotate when turned by hand.?
