Distributor Retaining Stud - 50th Anniversary Front Cover

Hi All,
Thought i'd ask before getting all the measuring stuff out!
I have a 50th Anniversary (I believe) front cover (brand New) that has the hole for the distributor but is not drilled through, but will be for my project.
I have had one of these machined before and used successfully but it was a long time ago. looking at an interim cover, there appears to be a threaded timesert-like insert that the stud (3/8 UNC/UNF) for the distributor clamp screws into. Are these available? or does anyone know the thread so I can make one?
