I do hope it includes what you need. I've not seen the two prong type of EV1 injector connector - but then I've only really dealt with the Lucas injection. If I had one, I could have checked it included that tool and saved you the gamble. :D

They're a bit like helicoil kits. Sometimes never needed for years. But you're glad you had it when needed.

This pic gives a good visual of the tabs

single tab

And same applies to the counterpart, they can have single or dual tabs to secure.

My JTs are as per Steve's photos (that I never got around to taking - sorry).

Kit came Friday and bingo, tool number 6 releases them perfectly.

I have to say it is an impressive 24 piece kit and I had no idea there were so many odd shaped prongs required. I'm thus not expecting to ask a similar question ever again! Thanks Dave for the link.

Only downside is that it is all made in China, not the UK.

Good you're sorted, Richard. The kit was worth it for me just for the one tool which fits the female terminal in the SD1 TTS connectors. I already had one which fits the male.

It never ceases to amaze me how the far east can produce these sort of limited demand tool sets at the price they sell them for.

It amazes me how they can produce all sorts...AND ship them here or to your door for the price they do.

FFS I can get cheaper postage from China most of the time than I can a lot of sellers of stuff from England ! lol.
