3.9 Rover v8 basic ignition wiring

Post by murraybuilt »

Hey guys, I've got a 1988 RR 3.9 v8 efi that I'm gonna run on carbs , but want to keep the electronic ignition.
Looking at wiring diagrams it seems as simple as running the two wire from the ignition amplifier on the Dizzy to either side of the coil?
Is this right , or am I missing something?

cheers
Andy

Yes - and of course +12v to the coil positive.
