Is it possible to swap the drive gears from a later slot drive type distributor drive gear to an early blade type for P6 engine use? The distributor in question is a secondhand Mallory dual point non-vac advance P/N 2564301. I thought these all came with the short blade type drives as standard to fit Buick 215 V8's.
