How easy is it to refurb a 3.54 Powerlock Diff?

Post by Dixie6789 »

I need to refurb my diff. Is this a job for a diy mechanic? It's a XJS 3.53.

Are there any special tools other than pullers required?

Thanks Mark.

I actually ended up with a 3.07 as you suggested.

Was easier to buy a good one and install so that I can get the old one out to sell on or refurb, cant make up my mind yet.

Its a XJS LSD 3.54 so worth something to someone.

Mark.
