23 spline 5th gear needed.

Bit of a massive balls up.
I have a 23 spine main shaft which the 5th gear slides onto. My 0.8 year wasnt in good condition, it was the only gear I didnt change when I rebuilt the box.
So sent away to Hanlon for 0.71 and they sent me a 28 spline.
So I either need to find a way of fitting the 28 spine or see if I can get a 23 spine gear. Hanlon cannot supply.
Does anyone have any ideas?
