Inspection hole on my T5wc box.

Post by Dixie6789 »

I have a large inspection hole on my Ford Cosworth T5 box. I have been told a TVR bung/grommet will fit. Has anyone got a spare I could buy, or know where I can get one please.

I have made a Ali plate, but it's rubbish and needs screwing on.

Thanks Mark.

I made a mesh cover for mine, which is held on with a formed stainless cover ring then bolted with 3off bolts.

Thought was to stop stones, but keep clutch cool maybe......but I do mostly only drive it in good weather too....as the mesh might let too much water in also, if you drive in all weathers.....

The bungs might be prone to falling out......but thats a guess, not sure how many people have ever lost one.
