Have an issue where my current tyres are not legal for the class im running in, (hoosiers) basically a slick with 2 groves around the tyre lol,
Im having to look at proper treaded drag radials now but the smallest I can find is a 245 on a 15" wheel, im trying to work out offsets etc needed which is turning into a headache lol,
the current hoosiers are 225x60x15 but no drag radials are found so far in this size except the hoosiers

Re: Wheel/Tyre Advice
What class and what are the rules ?
What width can you really manage ? What size wheels are available to you ?
A lot of US racing that allow DOT tyres....basically it seems all they need to be DOT approved are those little lines around, which pretend to be tread. Hence it's a common approach.
Other problem is a lot tend to aim for overall diameter when sizing, rather than our more road fitments..
eg 26" and 28" tyres are very common, and some racing states max 26", etc.
this would probably be too big ? M&H dont really go for smaller sizes at all

235/60x15 maybe an option ?

Re: Wheel/Tyre Advice
Straight line only, sorry not much idea, but if you decide to use the steering wheel and go around bends, Avon CR6 series tyres will stick like crazy and still give you a reasonable mileage before worn out
