Carburettor to throttle body conversions. (Jenvey induction equipment can be supplied)

Ford Escort 2.0L Zetec Turbo 328 BHP

Now you may recognise this ride as a feature car in Fast Ford which is a credit to the owner who built this 2.0L Zetec Turbo animal!! Amazingly the conversion still maintains alot of the standard internal engine parts. The crank, rods, and cams all remain as Ford intended...but the owner picked up from where Ford left off, and forged pistons, bigger injectors, an intercooler and a Cosworth T34 Turbo were squeezed into the unexpecting Escort engine bay. Now these are the kind of extras you won't find on any Ford optional extra lists!!

So how do you get all this trickery to work together as if it was factory fit, well thats where Bailey Performance come in with a Megasquirt ECU install and of course their invaluable exprience of tuning such transformations! And the end result...(drum roll please!)...328BHP and 300LB/FT of torque!!...Enough said!!

Land Rover 90 fitted with a Supercharged Rover 4.6L V8 and a R380 gearbox, built by the owner with support from Bailey Performance. Mapped for maximum torque output right from 900 to 5000rpm (rev limit 6000rpm) Full boost available form idle to redline in any gear!! Install includes a Megasquirt programmable ECU and Innovate LC-1 wide band closed loop control. This proven combination allows the car to meet MOT emission standards despite the staggering increase in performance.

This landrover (not lightened in any way) will do a quarter mile in 14.8 seconds and is the fastest Landrover in the UK and has been featured in issues of Land Rover World and Land Rover Enthusiast mags. Truly the best 4x4 by far!!

Ford Sierra Cosworth 4.6L V8 Procharged

Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 4.6L V8 Procharged

Take a standard Sapphire Cosworth then slot in a Bailey Performance Procharged Rover V8, and you end up with a very different beast from what Ford intended! The charged V8 produces all of its power at very low rpm, max power is reached at just 4530rpm whilst the tarmac ripping torque of 360lb/ft is available at 3940rpm!...(Well we say 360lb/ft but below 3000rpm the immense torque is too much for the laws of physics and wheelspin rules!!...but we estimate around 400lb/ft at just 2000rpm!) This is the definition of big power drivabilty!...And if it's big power your after you might just be interested to know that with an Eaton blower fitted torque was an earth shaking 600lb/ft, again available at just 2000rpm!

Bailey Performance supercharger installs include a Megasquirt programmable ECU working in partnership with an Innovate LC-1 wide band closed loop control. This proven combination allows the car to meet MOT emission standards despite unleashing incredible performance.

How about Focus RS power without the price tag?? Try this, we are talking 239bhp and 253lb/ft of torque from a standard Zetec 1.8 engine!...(and I know what your thinking...those performance figures are actually MORE than a Focus RS!! :-)

Sierra Sapphire Cosworth 2.9L 24V V6 Racecar

Bailey Performance are proud to support the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by sponsoring the BeyondRacing.net Charity motorsport team. As well as sponsorship Bailey Performance are responsible for keeping the Beyond Racer's engine on track!

This is a minimalist build, using standard engine internals to keep running costs down, with the car's bite being provided by using a programmable Megasquirt ECU which allows the hidden performance of the 'torquey' Cosworth 24V V6 engine to be unleashed. As this is a track only car the ECU runs from just 4 engine sensors, it's that simple!!...Simple but effective, with a 3rd in class in only its second race!...and on the wallet it can't be beaten for power per buck!!

Of course as Bailey Performance is the home of 'Induction Evolution' needless to say a supercharger conversion is already being planned!!!!

Autograss Class 9 Racer 3.0L Twin Tube

Autograss Class 9 oval racer powered by a Mitsubishi GTO 3.0L Twin turbo engine. Megasquirt ECU, EDIS Ignition, battery kill switch, alternator, starter button and ignition switch all installed to autograss competition standard by Bailey Performance. Awaiting final mapping, check back for final power figures…to wet your appetite keep in mind the standard motor will produce at least 300BHP, so should be a handful on the grass!!
