I have been tracking my V8 MGB for 15 years now and use wildwood superlite calipers. I have tried many types of pad with interesting results. The best pads by a huge margin I find are Carbotec XP8 / XP10 very expensive but worth every penny. They work from cold with consistent performance time and ...

The only trouble with doing that would be delivery times and folk would also have to pay for the filters and the tubing which I got very cheap as Muscle Manta brought all three of them back from the states for me a couple o...

Paul Looks fantastic! Now a question based on fluid dynamics. Are you forcing the engine to breathe through the top of the carb filter in the main? Reason I ask, To get air through the side of the main filter it first has to go through another filter. So based on lines of least resistance the top c...

Hello again all With the show looming I did my absolute best to get the filter housing sorted and fitted to the carb. After getting the glassing done it was a case of sanding back and doing a little more profile work to get things looking good. Following that it was out with the acid etch primer and...

Hi all Not had much time this week but hve managed a little more on the housing. The Crestabond fully cured over a couple of days so it was time to glass the two sections together in a belts and braces mode. Only one layer of laminate has been applied but it does tie the two halves together totally....

Good grief A double dose in one evening After making sure that I was happy with the fit of both sections for the last time I masking taped the two bits together to hold them when I applied the boding agent. http://i1073.photobucket.com/albums/w397/grpservicesplymouth/ais128_zpsbbbaynke.jpg http://i1...
