I'll be trying it out at Crail raceway which is local to me. It's not the best strip in the world as it is just the old WW2 runway surface. Fastest things to run there were some straightliner bikes - mid 8's I think. It's not really suitable for really quick cars - high 9's is the fastest I've seen....

I'm nearly finished my LS1 Minor project after quite a few set backs - 1998 Camaro 5.7 with 4l60, 26 inch tyres and a 3.1 - 1, 9 inch with tru track lsd. I discovered that my noise was due to a poorly fitted gasket on the oil pickup pipe. When car was revved there was insufficient oil being sucked up, hence the rattle.It was ok at sub 3k revs, but when it happened it took a while to go away again.
