I'm a member of the Morris Minor Owners forum and it will hopefully be at their first event where we will be joining the Harrogate MGOC on 3rd and 4th August 2013 Nidderdale Show Ground, Bewerley Park Plateley Bridge (Nr Harrogate) Yorkshire I'll also be taking it to Crail Raceway and attending the ...

I deliberated on this matter for a while, but eventually bit the bullet and bought dynamat extreme - not cheap but it is meant to do what it says.
There are plenty folk using flashbanding etc, but too many conflicting reports for me to risk it.

Thanks very much for your kind words. However, i'm not 100% happy with door gaps (long story) - my other V8 minor has almost perfect (for a minor) door gaps. Considering that this car has over the years been smashed, vandalised and generally well thrashed (I've had it since 1972) it is probably as g...

My mate is near Glasgow - he's building a car for me and I noticed the engine yesterday when I visited. A pallet delivery is only around £50 though.

Yes it's crossbolted - I didn't see a front cover though, but I believe it's from a P38 Rangie.

What's it worth?

A mate has a 4.6 Range Rover engine which he was going to convert into a coffee table. I asked him what was wrong with it and he said it had a blown head gasket. I had a quick look over it and the bores don't look steam cleaned, nor do the heads. Rather than waste it on decoration - what do you thin...

It's all fully glassed, sprayed, dynamatted and wired, so hopefully shouldn't be too long before I'm driving it.

I don't think I would risk a full pass with your car. There have been a few real quick cars here, but they only did the 1/8th before shutting off (wheelspinning all the way). There is reportedly a new strip being created in Ayrshire which will be to a proper standard, but I think there are planning ...

Not a lot of run off for fast stuff - fine for bikes though. It ends in the Forth :D
My uncle crash landed there at end of WW2 in an airacobra? - it was a Fleet Air Arm base, with practise areas marked out for carrier landings (still there I think).
Left hand lane is a bit bumpy.
