The tilt is fine you can run engines at some crazy angles if needed, but, what you do need to take into account is the diff flange has to be a similar angle to the tailshaft flange to keep everything in Phase, it is sometimes desirable to run the dif slightly "nose"up so the flange is in phase when ...

Trouble with compromises, they hurt future plans, as they tend to restrict things or need changing when upgrading, when, if done right in the first place thats not the case,
