That's what I love about this forum. I saw the subject and thought someone would be asking about changing the colour of their car with vinyl; but no it's much more practical than that :)

I just measured my dipstick as 52cm long, and the distance from the top of the tube to the bottom of the sump as 67cm. That's with what I think is a 3.9 RR sump.

Hi Ian, For some reason I can’t open any Rimmer Bros web links! Don’t know if it has something to do with their post merger with Moss Motors or if being in Australia is an issue. Possibly stupid comment, but how much difference does it make being at a small angle given that we still manage to drive up and down hills?
