That's what I love about this forum. I saw the subject and thought someone would be asking about changing the colour of their car with vinyl; but no it's much more practical than that

I just measured my dipstick as 52cm long, and the distance from the top of the tube to the bottom of the sump as 67cm. That's with what I think is a 3.9 RR sump.

Hi Ian, For some reason I can’t open any Rimmer Bros web links! Don’t know if it has something to do with their post merger with Moss Motors or if being in Australia is an issue.
