The scrutineering guy did pull me about the catch can first time I was ever there. That was the only time though. I just said my car doesnt throw out water ;) ( only once to date lol, and it was a very small amount ) I have a plastic header tank from an old Audi, and the cap just vents.....whereever...

They have never checked my MOT...

and I do not have a catch can for radiator ( header tank etc doesnt have provision for it )

Im sure Ive also seen cars that are clearly not road cars, and would not have MOT racing.

But a catch can is reccomended. If I could easily, Id have one.

I would imagine the side bolts wouldnt matter. They arent exactly under huge stresses.

The ones on my LS1 certainly arent anything fancy. Id say prob 8.8
Only an M8 fastener on the LS, circa 24lbft.

Demon Tweeks sell that style

Or try

Although postage for small light items like that from the US wont be expensive.

carb icing is also very easy to see. You can actually see ice forming on the body of the carb. In extreme cases, the throttle can actually freeze if sitting cruising at a steady opening for a while.

Jamsport are pimping the Gotech stuff...have been for a while ( mostly Ford guys )

And I know a tuner who looked at the KMS stuff with a view to selling it. They decided against it.

Not saying its bad....but it is a cheap entry level ecu.

You can get a bellhousing the bolt the Supra box to pretty much any engine from Australia or New Zealand. Heck, I got mine way back around 2001 or 2002 !!!!! If you can find a box at the right price, I dont see a Supra conversion as being anymore costly than a T5. When I was pricing both T5's and be...

Will you need a 1 way valve on those breather pipes to stop your boost pressure being lost into the rocker covers?
