also check your oil for swarf etc ..
when mine did that the oil pump had destroyed its self and then the first motion bearing seizes ....

ive read your other post .... i assume your v8 is on carbs ? it very much depends on how handy your DIY skils are ... you can easily fit an Lpg setup for around £200 ... there are loads of parts on Ebay .... its a very simple setup on older engines .... im running a v8 on LPG and im running it on lp...

they are so simple .. 2 wires from the dizzy to the coil and a positive feed to the coil ....

i ordered a coil RTC5628 .... and they sent me a 12v ballast coil ....
ive got a 35DLM8 Dizzy ..... is that going to be ok ?

No AFM

Spot the missing part ? ..... got fed up with AFM in the way so its in the boot ... just in case .. it runs all the time on LPG so theres no need to have it there and it runs so much better without it ... its all setup so a quick wizz with a screw driver and the AFM can be refitted ... just in case ...

please think im being funny here ... but for the cost of getting the injectors serviced you could fit a single point LPG kit and only use petrol as a reserve like i do .... all the parts are avalible on ebay used or new ... you will not notice a drop in performance and its less than 70p a litre at t...

ah yes good point chris ...
mine never uses petrol now , not unless i cant get to a filli. station ..
ive even removed the AFM and just have a mixer and air filter on the plenum now :-)
it runs so much better without that flap in the way ..lol

hi jono , is that your drift truck ? how about LPG before you laugh too much , you could get a flapper or hotwire manifold .. and a simple single point lpg setup , vaporiser / mixer ring etc and stick it straight onto the plenum no injectors , no elecrics , no ecu etc etc .... no airflow meter ... i...
