I am with Marki, if you want to make use of a wilder cam, you have to have an engine that can breath sufficently to make more power. Otherwise you just give away power in the low-mid range without the benefit of more power in the higer rev range. The added compression will help recovering some of yo...

Have a chat with V8Development.
They do a stealth cam which is less agressive than their H404.

Weber 44IDF set-up
Hi guys
I am looking for someone which still knows how to set-up 4x44IDF for my engine.
My normal contact is off work till end of April 08 due to back-related problems.
Any recommendations?

I had a modified 3.9 in my Dax Rush. A well-known RV8 specialist built the engine. The car was used for spirited driving and trackdays. My skew gear failed on the start of another trackday with the engine done less than 6000 miles after re-built. The problems are not only the loads from the camshaft...

We made an exhaust group buy for several RV8 powered Dax Rush in the Rush-owner forum this year. The exhausts were made by Simpson Race Exhausts. Matt recommended 1 5/8 manifolds. The quality and service done by Simpson was first class. Maybe give Matt a call and see what he recommends for your car?...

Hi Martin In my opininon, you won't see much benefit from the flywheel. You wold be better of spending the money getting a 3.9 or bigger RV8 block. As for the aluminium flywheel discussion before, I agree with Hairbear, it is no problem in a lighter car with a 10 inch clutch on top of it. My Rush ha...

Just on a side note, once you have the correct parts (sorry, I cant help you there) you may want to look into adding some strenght to the release arm by welding additional brackets across. It would be bad if you would have to remove the engine - gearbox due to release are bending. This has happened ...
