Re: My Supercharged V8 Capri Conversion

Assuming there are no leaks, which is easy to test, and you do not have belt slip, which is fairly easy to monitor*, then if you need more airflow, you simply need to spin the blower harder. But low power could be many things, from an actual problem, to simply bad tuning. If you think somehow there...

As Stevie rightly says with it being a supercharged engine "boost is not the goal", in fact quite the opposite. So looking at what we know this is what I see. We know the NA baseline BHP is just shy of ...

Re: Engine build

Ralphypants unfortunately there is no such thing as a 'cheap' 300bhp Rover engine. Looking at ChrisJC's suggestion, which is perfectly reasonable, my first thought is that's going to start at £5k whoever you get it from. Adjusting expectations might help you out. If you were happy with 250bhp then a...

Finally back in a V8

After following one of Jaguars V6's for a few years I'm now back from the dark side and firmly behind a V8

My 15 plate E63 V8 Biturbo was delivered yesterday.

33k miles, full service history, 550bhp....soon to be a wee bit more :racing
