Just saying thanks for your help, got it running on the set up shown on here with the different amp mounted to the wing, running perfectly.

anybody know which wire goes where on the amp coming from the dizzy as the wires in my dizzy are both black i dont have an orange or purple one.

so if it is the amp, will the amp earlier on in this post the intermotor one work with my distributor, i have the new dizzy with the amp on the side.

i removed that as soon as you said before. is the volts ment to pulse and if so what controls that is it the bit the amp plugs to in the dizzy ?

Ok brilliant thanks for that. well i have been and bought another new coil. still nothing . someone told me that when i crank the engine the voltage on the - side of the coil should pulse drop off and then back up to the 12 v. which it is not doing it drops to 11.5v until i stop turning the key then...

hi, are the wires i have connected the correct ones ? to the + on the coil i have an ignition live, a live going to the live on the dizzy amp and a condensor, do i still need the condenser on this set up ? and just an earth and a - going to the dizzy amp on the - side of the coil. i have put a multi...

i dont run a live to the - on the coil though do i ? it just comes back off the amp as a + does it ? on the coil i have on the + side an ignition live, a condensor, not sure if i still need this on this coil and set up, and then the wire running to the + side of the amp.
